What are appropriate measures to be taken when my radio-controlled clock cannot display the correct time or a malfunction is observed immediately after battery replacement?
The following symptoms are commonly seen:
- The clock has stopped for 20 minutes or longer.
- The hands keep turning and do not stop.
- The clock does not receive radio waves.
- The clock does not move even if the time setting button is pressed.
Push a reset button or remove a battery, leave it for a while, and insert it again. You can replace a battery, too.
Then, leave the clock in a location that easily receives radio signals.
The length of time from leaving a battery to inserting it again varies according to a manufacturer. Contact the manufacturer of your clock for details.
